This was caused by the laptop didn't recognize the new battery. Do the next two steps to help the laptop recognize the new battery.
1.Please shut down your laptop with the new battery installed, pull out the adapter, wait for ten seconds, then plug in the adapter, wait for ten seconds again, then open your laptop. The new battery will be ok.
2.If the battery still can not work, please shut down the laptop, download the battery and pull out the adapter. Then press the power button for thirty seconds. At last please install the new battery and plug in the adapter, charge the new battery for 24hours with the laptop shut down.
